Feedback on my upcoming round-based game?

My new game has been play-tested by non developers, but I would really appreciate some feedback from people with experience making games!

Here’s some info about the game:

  • 7 Maps (3 obbies, 1 maze, 3 open-explorer maps)
  • 5 Game Modes (including scavenger hunt – multiple noobs)
  • Round based

I will be considering all feedback, so feel free to comment on any part of the game, no matter how insignificant it is

Thank you!

I see a lot of free models in your game, especially in the lobby.

This board is quite weird looking:

Also, not much gameplay in your game. Very bland. All you do is go through either an obby or a “hide and seek” type of thing and find the noob model. Maybe add swords or something so players can kill each other, that way there will be more competition.

I appreciate the feedback. What specifically about the board is weird looking so that I can fix it?

The board is floating and the font looks vertically stretched.

The theme of it doesn’t fit in with the rest of the lobby. It’s the only blue object in the lobby apart from the water.

Thank you. Outside of the lobby, which models looked like free models (some of the trees were from plugins)?

I think cwd30 was talking about the beach chairs and umbrellas. You would see models like this in the Toolbox.

Yeah, I’m not really sure what I should put instead of those to be honest. Do you have any other suggestions relating to the gameplay itself or the other maps?

The beach chairs/umbrellas and the red e-z up tent thing.

Make your own beach chair and umbrella. Blender seems like a good and easy way to make one.
