To be honest, your Low Poly build is great for a paradise game. I really appreciate the island’s terrain structures and the trees really made the scene perfect.
Though I recommend your trees’ color from dark green to light green to match the color of the grass. Also you did a very good job on the stones though make your stones have a more grayer color to make it really look like stones.
Though I really appreciate and like your waterfall, its one of the reasons it made the island look like paradise.
In all, you did a great job on your Low Poly island.
The island itself looks great for a first! Maybe for the sandy part, try making it more like a “beach” (use a wedge or something to make it seem like the sand is going into the water). It’ll definitely look better than just having a block there.
Since this is your first low-poly build, it honestly looks not that bad I would try working on adding some detail to your island so it could look a bit better overall for a starter. Keep practicing on your island and eventually you can create something greater.
However, everything is really well done, but in my opinion, there is some room for improvement concerning is this map for a game or just for practice? Overall, I would try adding some detail in the beach area some shipwreck, rocks, plants. Try adding umbrellas and/or beach chairs (and etc.) I do believe this would look better within your island
Right now, the island looks a little plain Adding some more trees or maybe adding some logs, grass, in the land part could fill it up. I personally would add some vines hanging down from the stone rocks you could try expanding your island so you could add bits of details here and there around it so it could look more improved.
For your first attempt creating a low poly build, it looks good.
Thank you yeah i was thinking of changing the trees
Alright i will try that thank you
Yeah now that i’m seeing it it does look plain i’m going to try adding some more stuff thank you
I like the colour choices, using contrasting bright colours only adds to the low poly experience. May I ask, did you make this on CSG or blender, I totally recommend blender for a project like this since you can reduce the triangle count right down and it isn’t that difficult to model with the wide variety of tools. One improvement I’d make is having some caves in the mountain near the coast and perhaps some stoney natural bridges going into the sea like Durdle Door in Dorset, England.
Also, this was just practice I was just building these for fun
I used blender for this build i’m going to try that thank you for replying
lt’s awesome, but one thing you should do is make the edges of the map curved.
Alright I can try that thank you for replying
Alright i will try to improve on thank you
