Feedback on Resort build! Tell me what you think :D

Hello! I am new to Roblox Devforum and I am making a Resort, this is what I got so far c:
I have to still add a lot outside like palm trees, pool, seats, etc! Here is the screenshots of my build! I made the whole Hotel myself  Please tell me your feedback so I can get better.

It looks very nice but it’d look better if you fill empty space with some interesting things :v:

Also (in my opinion) roof is to high and it looks empty so you could also low it down.

Yes, I want to add a lot of detail such as plants, decorations, items outside such as pool, waterpark, etc. I am still working on it, but thank you so much for the advice!

Yes I could lower the roofs and maybe add some details on the roof too!

Edit: I just realized I put roof instead of ceilings

I know it’s silly but I don’t know the difference between a hotel and a resort but if it’s the same or something similar then it would be nice to add rooms with bed bathroom and stuff.

Yes! I have a friend who made me room models, I haven’t added them in yet. Also I think the difference between and Resort and Hotel are a Resort has more activities to do at the place instead you just stay at a Hotel, I think a Resort is a bit fancier too lol!

Yeah that’s it I see you have a gym here and reception and some kind of rest zone / restaurant. Its just my opinion but everything looks more detailed when its smaller I often made this mistake at the beggining.

Yeah, I tried to make this build smaller because my last resort build (v2) was huge and it lagged so much because when you walked different places it would disapear because it was so huge lol, this is a lot smaller.

it’s always good to have a block rig around to know how big everything is compared to the player .

I like it, it looks good. I can’t really think of much that needs fixed other than what ReplacedUser said. The lighting kinda looks bright though, it might just be from the screenshots. Anyways, nice job!

Looks nice! The only problem I have with it, is that there is a lot of empty space. Fill that empty space and keep up the good work!:metal:

A resort is no fun without water so I’d suggest adding a pool or something with water :grinning: @Rosieemxrie.

Yes, I am not sure how to add lighting so I go to models and type in Light and get a light and put it on the floor…lol

Lol. Same, lighting is one of my weak points. Anyways, good luck!

Looks good apart from the fact that there aren’t many objects including rooms balcony’s, and different features and shapes placed on the building. As far as a resort building goes, it should have that theme to it.

You could try spicing it up a bit include a bunch of smaller buildings surrounding the area, there’s normally pools, small cottage buildings objects and seating placed on the top roof something to make it more interesting It should give players something to do and interact with each other however this might be planned out.

There isn’t much to go on since what i’m assuming it’s still in development. A good way to find objects and a good layout would be using inspiration find images of resort hotels and see what items it features what things to implement to make your hotel to have that resort theme - feel.

The colours with the lighting makes it look really bright because the colours are quite pale. Try make them darker so you can see them better

Lighting is easy to add. If you want to change overall lighting go to Properties>lighting and there you can change everything you want here you have a full explanation : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_h34LWSId0Q

To add lighting to one single part search for surface light in workspace and just insert into part you want to add light into then go to properties of surface light and you can change range, intensity and even color of light :+1:
