The shape of it looks pretty good, just hard to see the textures since it’s so dark. Or is that how it’s supposed to be?

Same for me. Just Dark. 
I’m Confused. I think he is Meaning the Shape. If he Forgot the Texture in Blender, then I don’t know How I will Help him.
I believe he’s adding textures to add colour and detail to the model, that’s just the part that he’ll overlay the texture(s) onto.
