Feedback on small low-poly build

Alright, so I made this low-poly showcase map, and i’d love to get some feedback on it [Strong points, possible improvements].

This build, including the time in Blender and ROBLOX Studio, took me around 3.5 hours.

Here are some images:

Thanks in advance :grinning: :+1:

That’s an amazing build! I think you could add a few more trees and bushes to the showcase, and for the well in the second photo, the walls look very thin. If you made them a tiny but thicker, it would look amazing. Good job!

Thanks for the advice!

I’m probably going to remodel the trees, as I don’t think they fit the map.

The build looks amazing but I believe that the well could possibly have the darkness put a bit lower because in my opinion it sort of looks weird and like it’s popping out, I think you should also rotate the bucket to be straight but; if we’re talking about the rest of the map I’d probably recommend creating new tree varieties as some of it looks copy and pasted and some people dislike that.

In general, your map is really nice and there really isn’t a lot to improve, just small details!

Amazing job what you did here! I would recommend one thing. Try to resize the trees a bit don’t make them the same size and make them a darker/lighter color(s), it will give it a good look!

Try having a selection of about 3 trees (Trees don’t take forever to model). It makes it stand out and just makes the build feel finished. Also resize like @SelectedArctic said.

I think this looks wonderful. Love the cubic route with the trees.

You should add bushes, flowers, anything else to make the build not look so empty. At the moment everything is just close together in the build on the bottom left of the first picture you should something there as it’s very empty, this could also possibly go along with the bottom right of the first picture as well. Another thing you need to work on with the trees is the different styles, right now there’s only one type of tree which doesn’t look that great.

Yeah, the trees look fairly bland, i’ll take notes. Thanks for your feedback :grinning:

I’m currently polishing it, and I’ll think of that bottom left corner. The trees, I did quickly, so this time ill vary the more. Thanks for the feedback :+1:

Looks good!
One thing that I would add is a light (turned off becuase it’s day) at the top of the lighthouse as just having it like that makes it seem incomplete.

Here’s an example of what I would like to see (don’t make it high detail like this):

Good idea! I never thought of that while modeling it.

it just seems empty… have you tried adding grass, logs, maybe even mushrooms around some of the trees, it seems perfect, clean and empty as of now but you could be going for that type of design, I don’t know… it still looks great though and I can’t wait to see the final version of this!! Good luck!!!

I completely agree on some of these changes and it does indeed look kind of plain. Also the mountains could use a little more variety instead of just one being flat without any slopes of the such. If you need help with that, here is a link to a fast tutorial that should help with that case.

That video looks like it could help me. Thx!

Relaxing, what a cool game!
The island’s just perfect! If somebody plays this they’ll probably appreciate it due to the fact it looks like a relaxing island.

Well, everything looks good, though I would like to encourage you to use a darker green for the grass and maybe more shaped trees. since they are just 3 meshes stacked, but overall, great job!
