Currently, me and my friend are working on a game and aren’t sure if the current art style for the game’s weapons are “Modern” enough.

The weapon model seems good.
But it’s to be a “cubic” game? because i see it’s cubic at the blade, but it isn’t at the other part of it…
I think you should make all of it cubic or all of it non-cubic

looks pretty good however as @rtvr56565 pointed out, the blade is too square, and also the handle looks a bit small.
