I think this looks good but something that looks a little strange the the waterfall because it looks completely different then the water above it.

It looks good, you might want to rotate some trees, each tree with a different orientation:
And the other issue would be this part:
It looks a bit strange, maybe you could remove that area of grass, you could change the grass color a bit. Thanks for reading.

First attempt looks good consider adding elevation to your terrain most of them are flat and plain looking I do agree that the trees need to have some variation into them most of them share the same design making it look unappealing.
However to add more depth into your terrain try including some vegetation throughout the area there could be hills, mountains so it won’t look too flat. I do think you have some potential to make this even better then now! My recommendations is to either add some variety of trees or some islands in the water maybe a dock in the background, maybe some colorful flowers it’s decent build since your a beginner I’ll give you that.
