That looks amazing!!
Im looking for a map builder and pet modeller (not blocky) for a new game, let me know if youre interested
I’ll start off with a warning, Most of what i say is just my nitpicker side. With that out of the way let me start with the dents, There’s too much! like lower the amount especially on the chimney. Another thing is the windows, not enough detail some things hanging out of the window would be cool. Lastly, the Form of this building is pretty boring, Let me show you an example
As you can see some parts are higher while others are lower, some of the building hangs giving it some charm.
I hope this helped !
Sorry if I was rude just trying to help!
No worries man appreciate it! However the reason there are too many dents is because this was a dent test , I was practising using them dynamically , but as for the other suggestions I will definitely take that into account!
I think it looks good! Is this blender or studio built?
I would fix the following:
Lastly, I would challenge you to hollow out that house, turn those windows into glass and add a light source or 2. That way, the lit windows stand out at night too. Depending on your game, let people inside.
Here’s my house, mainly to show off the difference a lit window has.
Built in blender as a indent experiment , obviously quite simple. Reference image followed had beams like that , however your idea is probably better. And whilst your house is awesome , they’re both completely different styles , yours focuses more on textures than kinda that low poly look. Seriously appreciate the feedback and nice work!
It’s actually a hybrid: low poly plus textures. The thing they don’t tell you about textures… you cant go back!
I apologize, I wasn’t trying to compare the two houses, just show off the interior lighting. I think your house would really pop if that light was spilling out!
