Feedback On Thumbnail

Working on this thumbnail and feel like its missing something, any suggestions would be great.
Thanks

In the nicest way possible…

This is hard to look at, clashing colors, and you have to look around to see what is going on. The user is being bombarded with colors and information with no real starting point of what to look at. I recommend minimizing what the user has to look at. Also, I’d make the background more descriptive of the actual place too…

Alright, ill try tone it down a bit.

It looks pretty good except there is something about it that looks like one of those cafes that use shaders that make it way too bright, I think it would be much better if all the colors were made just a bit darker, but overall I think it would make a great thumbnail if the colors were dimmed just a bit.

This looks pretty good! Nice job!

It took me a few minutes to even process what is happening… as Sloss said try making it less flashy.

Like @sloss2003 said its to many bright colors and your eye is looking everywere and cant rest. Also it would look better if the text has contrast between the background and it self. But it stiil looks pretty good.

So i dimmed the background and other aspect of the design, i think its a bit better now but i might redo some parts.

Thanks for the feedback

In my opinion it needs something to focus on, there is too much stuff to look at and nowhere to focus on. Even the characters are hard to see due to the particles in front of them.

Too much colors, i don’t like it that much. Sorry.

Anyways, i have some feedback

  • Make it less rainbow shiny-ish colors. Hard to see and kinda annoying.
  • Add more robloxians to the thumbnail and make them bigger a bit.
  • Your watermark (Ix_Eclipse) on the bottom right corner, move it to the bottom left corner. It’s better design.
  • Make the game name "The Dropper with green-blue color instead of Red-Yellow-Pink-Purple color. Sorry, i kinda explain it silly!
  • Remove the red bar at the middle, because it makes the background less satisfying to see.

extras

I rate that a 5.5/10, because of all the cons i mentioned above, this is the lowest rating ever i gave to people in Cool creations and Art design support. But you can improve it! Try to improve it! :+1:

I would pay 500-750 robux for that game thumbnail.

Improve your thumbnails, mentioned it twice. Anyways, keep up with the good work!

It’s a good thumbnail. But I think it’s way too satured. Maybe less colours? Or changing to darker colors. I think both should work. But in few words… Good job!

Right now the focus of the thumbnail is on the four players (they are in the center of the shot), but it should be focused on all the cool stages your game features. I would recommend retaking the background image pointing at your favorite stage that you want to show off the most.

For me, 5 players actually looks better.

This is probably the most simple one i did, i dont really like it tho.

The one that you showed at the top is way better than this. This one looks really really actually terrible. A 3/10. Sorry to say that.

i cant tell if you’re joking or not.

no, i’m serious! if you want more long discussions, just message me.

I agree, the one at the top is better. Still, I think that showing off the maps will give more character to the thumbnail and improve its look overall. Maybe a combination of the two will create the best thumbnail?

umm, let’s just move this discussion to messages. i’ll message you.

Ill just stick with making logos for clubs, child friendly thumbnails isint my strong point, i dont really understand them.
