Hey everyone! I need to gather some opinions real quick for a project I’m working on. I’ve came up with two of these logos. Obviously, the one on the left is a lot more advanced and I’m sure a lot of people would prefer that one. Should I use that one, or should I stick to what I believe is a fairly simplistic logo. Also, if you have any constructive criticism you believe would help me, please say it, as I am always trying to improve my graphic design skills!

As you mentioned, I prefer the logo on the left.
I really like it simple, but maybe you can add some details in the background. Maybe some icons?
Also, just curious, what software did you use to create the logos?

To start off, these are the logos; not game icons. They’ll definitely have some detail in the background when applied to the game!
Also, I use pixlr.com for everything I make.

Oh, I am actually familiar with pixlr.com, I never knew you could do such thing with the photo editing software!
I think the logo on the left looks great, I cannot wait to see the final product!

I think you should just put the white border text thing on the right one.

Exactly as you mentioned, the one on the left is my preference. Try adding some eye-catching color to the background, such as #E94B3CFF(RGB:233, 75, 60) and you got yourself a logo.
Thanks for the suggestion! An eye-catching color will definitely be part of the finished design. Just focusing on the logo itself for now before I add extra details to the background to complete it.
