(FEEDBACK) Rate my classroom!

this is probably my first proper build for a game I am making. I haven’t attempted to build anything like this so I am quite proud.

the chair legs seem pretty weird so I will fix that.

Looks good! Although it seems quite bland.

What I would do is Detail!
Try experimenting with it: put pencils on desks, erasers on the blackboard, vary the seat position (Put some seats on an angle), add a corkboard on the wall displaying work.
If you put detail into it, it would make it 10 times better than it is now.

Thank you! Yes I will create a lot of details once I finished with the basics in the game.

For a first proper build, I like it.

I’d say

  • Try to remove the “Blocky-ness” from the objects
  • Add some details such as textbooks, photos on the walls, and other items
  • Try to add more details to the walls, board, desks, etc.
  • Use something like 0.05 or 0.25 for decimal placement so the parts are straight

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your feedback! Currently working on it now.

For a first proper game it looks really nice so far! I just think you can try to resize things depending if you are using the regular roblox rig, and add more detail, such as things on the desk such as; papers, notebooks, pens etc. Though it’s coming along well!

Thank you! In previous replies I said I wasn’t done yet. I will make a new topic after I finished the build!

Not to shabby for your first time, Using different shapes would help a lot and make it seem less blocky. If your up for it learning how to create your own meshes, etc would help too, I like the black board. Haha

I think it looks really good! It’s way better then my first build lol! A few things I think you should add

  • Maybe some more detail, kinda what the others have said above, but maybe add some kid artwork, some pictures of what the class is focusing on (eg if it’s a math class put maths diagrams on the walls)
  • Maybe add a window? I think it looks good without windows though.
  • Mess! I am a intermediate student now, and no classroom I have EVER been in has been that tidy lol.
  • Maybe the teachers area could have a bit of personality I guess, like just a mug or something
  • I think you have done such a good job!

It’s a great start but I do have a few things to suggest:

  • Yeah the chairs could do with a little bit of work but I think it has potential. You could add some other detail to the chairs too for instance maybe something a little like this:

  • The thickness of the actual seat part of the chair also looks off:

  • Maybe add some baseboards / skirting around the room.

  • The door handles could be remade to look a little better and the door’s texture could also be changed to fit the build better. The doors also look abnormally tall to me in this too so I’d suggest sizing them down a little and maybe adding a door frame too.

  • The blackboard could look nice with a frame around it too.

It’s a nice start good luck on your future builds!

The reason why the doors are tall is because in the game you are a little kindergartener. Thanks!

Oh alright that makes sense. Good luck!

It’s a pretty good attempt for a first try however I’d recommend adding textures to the tables to make it realistic as wood planks don’t suit the material for it. I’d also recommend using mesh for the chairs so they don’t look too blocky. If you’re looking to make a modern classroom I’d recommend making the screen in front more modern by detailing it or adding some sort of border to make it stand out. I’d also recommend to neaten up the work so the presentation of the build looks more organised and well shown.

The legs on the chair are off, and you said you’re fixing that, so nothing else really matters to me, but I’d add props like textbooks, a mug on the teacher’s desk, and etc. if I were you.

You should focus on details in the future, avoid building blocky items. Keep up the good work!
