Feedback wanted for my game about dreams

Hello!

I’m looking for feedback and idea’s for my project about dreams. The goal for this project is to create surreal and dream-like landscapes and lighting. Here is the game so far: Artificial Dreams - Roblox (Some scenes have can have extremely bright skies so if you have problems with extremely bright lights proceed with caution)

Here are ideas I currently have for what I will add next:

  • The game will pick from 10-20 ambiences and then will randomly select an instrument to play at random. This will create an off-putting aesthetic. [IN PROGRESS]
  • If the height level is low enough there will be a pool of water. [FINISHED]
  • much later in development, I will make the landscapes infinitely generating.
  • Create odd creatures in the style of DREAM WORLD by NOR0i

Here are some questions I have for you:

  • What is your honest opinion about how it is currently?
  • What other features do you want to see added?
  • What will make the game more interesting to explore?

Anyhow, I hope you find my game interesting, I’m willing to respond to every question!

Hi,

This game is actually very interesting, in terms of the concept. Obviously there isn’t much purpose right now, but I believe if you add more content it could definitely spice this game up.

Speaking of content, here are just a few ideas you could implement:

  • Make a weapon system, mainly with melees. With these weapons, you could slay hostile creatures or players.

  • Implement a building system (if you can) where you can build your own fort, similar to RUST or any other survival game.

  • A currency system could benefit the game and add a little bit of purpose to it. You could obtain this currency through slaying creatures and players, or by finding them on the ground.

  • Add some sort of starter tool (something close to a phone) to the player, where they can access building materials, weapons, or food supplies. They can purchase these items though the currency they obtain. These items could be delivered through airdrops, or you can make it so they spawn in front of the player.

Hope this helps!

These are just ideas for inspiration, you could implement them however you want.

So far, I can see the game going 3 directions:

  • Becoming a survival game with an generated vegetation, A building and surviving game.
  • Become a combat game where 3 candidates for the map get put in a viewportframe for players to choose from. This would be profitable if I wanted a monetary direction.
  • Becoming completely abandoned (Unlikely.)
