[FEEDBACK]I'm new to Blender modeling. Is this low-poly?

Okay, so i just started Blender modeling about a week ago. I want some feedback on if this is low-poly.

I believe it is low poly as you’re trying to have as low polygons as possible. I would say this is very excellent and if you’re new to Blender, you certainly are really good at it. Keep up the great work!

Thanks! I have not done any experimenting with textures yet, but I hope to start understanding it soon.

A screenshot of the tri/faces count would be really helpful. Also, turn on clipping (it appears you used a mirror modifier) and drag the middle sections together because they are separated.

Overall it looks a bit messy, but for a week at Blender I would commend you on this! Try and explore some more beginner modeling techniques as they will help you move on to more complex/sophisticated models in the future. Practice makes perfect.

If this took you a week in blender, this is amazing. I believe this is low-poly.

Do you want it to look low poly? The reason I ask is you can have a low-poly mesh from Blender, but you can Smooth the way some faces appear without actually changing your mesh: https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/modeling/meshes/editing/normals.html#modeling-meshes-editing-normals-shading
