Feedback/Reviews on a user

Hi there, I was just thinking that it would be pretty cool if the DevForum had like a feedback/reviews on a user. This is so that other developers can give the user constructive criticism, good comments on them, vouches etc. I think this feature would help the user build up on their skills and focus on a main area.
Vote if you think it’s a good or bad idea.

I’d rather it be about the creation, rather then the creator. Users may treat it as a way to criticize someone’s personality since it is tied directly to them. And games are complex and different enough that I feel lumping them together would reduce the quality of the review.

Human’s deeds — in this case developer’s — should speak about their personality, not someone’s praises, or opinions.

This feature wouldn’t be very beneficial.
Why conscructive criticism would be given about developers themselves? How would that allow them to improve their skills, to become better developers?
Their creations, things that make them developers, should be the target for criticism instead. And that is what e.g. #development-discussion:cool-creations is for, or #development-support:building-support etc.

What good would targeting the developers do? Talking how they’re awesome, giving them praises for whatever, how they’re a cool person, possibly creating a delusional image of their personality…
In what direction could that discussion go? How they behave or misbehave? It would become a reason for arguments for sure. People would quickly begin to take sides, often ignoring what is right. Such discussions should remain confidential, between people who manage the forum. They should make sure developers behave properly, not us.

I believe we ourselves should be the main source on our personality. The image of ourselves should be described through our deeds & creations, not some people’s opinions, not even through our own words. Even our own words may become worthless, when we are believed to act against them.
IMO, this feature would be inviting trouble, spreading false information, supporting narcissism, and would certainly not help people grow as developers.
