FireClient error

I’m getting an error FireClient: player argument must be a Player object, although I’m passing the player in the first argument? Any solution here?

script.ProximityPrompt.Triggered:Connect(function(trigger)
   local character = trigger.Parent
   if character then
      local player = game.Players:GetPlayerFromCharacter(character)
      event:FireClient(player)

The ProximityPrompt.Triggered event passes a Player object, not a Character.
