First Complete Octane Render

So I got really inspired to learn how to make 3D graphics, which is one of the only fields where I don’t know how to do. I got C4D and Octane yesterday and decided to start learning. After a couple test renders and messing around, I’ve finally created and completed something I’m satisfied with (this is a scene from my upcoming game).

So you’re telling me this is your FIRST authentic render?

Yes. Well technically fourth, I made three test renders before this yesterday. This is my first official render with post effects (I’m also an editor so I have good experience in that aspect)

this one here has poop posing this was just testing octane

Posing and importing objects test + testing out skies and lighting

Learning reflections and bloom + daylight. This one has a lot of grain bc I didnt know how samples controlled the grain (This is a McLaren from my game btw :smiling_imp:)

I’m impressed for a first render- all I have is that it’s very grainy; especially in the shadows.

Yeah. I thought high enough samples would remove the grain, but after the render and searching around I found out it was actually because of a setting called GI clamp. Don’t worry, I know about this now, so this shouldn’t affect future renders.

Anyways, thanks for the nice comment!
