First ever blender creation

Hello everyone!
I am once again asking for some feedback from the dev forum, and looking for some tips too!
I have recently picked up blender and have started to play around with it.
I have created a little mountain range with low poly trees, rocks, and bushes.

Anyways, I really enjoyed making these. Would love to get some tips and tricks from the pros! :yum:
(PS. I’m looking to model some guns and weapons next, as I need these for a game im working on, please give me some tips and tricks for this too!)

Wow nice! I don’t have any tips or ticks for you but maybe include some more assets like a bendy bridge or something, that would be cool.

For a first attempt, it does look good. Maybe try going for a brighter color, you could possibly go for a more lighter grey or brownish color however you could keep it like this with the low poly theme you’re going for.

When creating types of trees, consider adding variation into them so it doesn’t look repetitive in a kind of way, maybe create one with branches sized differently with other angles maybe have some with other trunk sizes. At the start decent, nicely done keep learning and practicing and you’ll be on your way.

Looks great!
It appears to be a Copy/Paste of the same mesh around the outer edge.
One issue you may find with a large mesh like this is the Collision properties don’t act like it visually appears and players may be walking through the mesh in some sections or above the mesh in others.

Pretty cool. I would change some of the grass to match the color variation of the trees. Other than than, tremendous first build.

Alright, now this is something I did not know.
Thank’s to the dev forum though, I know now!
Thank you!

Thank you very much!
I enjoy blender a ton.

I’ve been getting into it more lately too!
Really helps for complex shapes like airplanes and car bodies, I’m currently making a Formula 1 race car and have made an F4U Corsair WWII plane as well.
