I made this random song for no reason. Actually, for a reason. To test the software. It could definitely use some work, but whatever. I’m very new to music production.

You can add the effect back and it will be horror music.

Sounds like the silence before a thunderstorm (in other words something bad is about to happen in a horror game).
I can only give it an 8/10, because the instrument is an earrape at first.
Its good, the only thing I would change is I would take out a lot of high end from that one sound

High end means high frequencies. Like in a orchestra, the violins and violas would usually take up the high end and the bass and cellos would usually take up the low end. When the high frequencies are too loud, it makes a song sound too harsh and bright
By “take out the high end” I meant use a EQ to cut some of the higher frequencies from the high pitched instrument that u layered with the piano

FL trial comes with all the stock plugins I thought. It should have fruity parametric EQ 2 on it
