First game & experience page feedback

Hello there, I just released my first game this last weekend. Here it is:

It is a PvP focused tycoon where the main objective is to collect new weapons and fight over supplies.

In particular, I’m interested in feedback anyone has on:

  1. Ways to improve my experience page - I don’t feel that I’m very good at “marketing” the game on the page but I don’t want it to feel spammy, full of emojis, etc. Just layout an exciting premise and get people to try the game.
  2. The game play in the first 10 minutes.

Any feedback would be much appreciated!

Follow up question - how do I improve engagement with this post?

Test market.

I found your game easy to pick up because of the tutorial, but I also discovered layers of complexity as I progressed because of interacting with players, keeping me challenged and entertained. I got rewarded for my efforts because of the drop box which allowed me to unlock new features and upgrades.
Offer premium items, gamepasses, and other in-game purchases.

Great, thanks for the feedback!

One question: what do you mean by, “Test market”?

Do you mean show the page to people in my target market and see what they think? Or something else?

Yes. People start to invest a lot of Robux into their game before they’ve test marketed it or have any visits. People would think that everyone on Earth was going to play it, only to find out that nobody actually did play it. Now, they’re stuck with no visits and no Robux. People don’t listen to what people are telling them in regard to whether or not it’s a good game. Listen to what people tell you.

Hi. I had a play for a while and have a few suggestions. Perhaps you could cosmetic items to improve the appearance of the areas. Once finished, they do look a little sparse, so some props to buy around the place might be nice.

A couple of things with the air drops. The Touch part has CanCollide set on it, so it looks strange when your character gets close to the crate and you suddenly go up 1 stud and stand on air. Also the particles need changing. Add a fading transparency and colour, change the particles and add a spread to them.

Perhaps having the odd NPC around the place to fight when there are no other players might increase retention.

Good luck

Thank you!

I’ve wondered about this - confirmed my suspicion! One drawback is I’m better at coding than designing

Totally agree - I debated doing this before the v1 release and decided to release it as an update. Coming soon!
