The model is entirely 958 tris only, and I did as best I could faking details using only textures because I really like optimizing stuff.
Feedback is appreciated; it’s my first gun model that I actually finished, after all.
It uses SurfaceAppearance for realistic textures with normal maps, metalness, and roughness. All textures were created from scratch in Blender shaders, then baked (the CPU was slow, so it took a while). The same texture is applied across all objects for extra optimization.
I made that model for the old SCP SL-inspired game I’m currently making. This gun will probably stay for a bit as a placeholder for all guns.

the roughness splotches should toned down abit, reminds me of a wet floor
other than that, it looks good

Ok, some more progress I made:
I will combine two animations into one using my plugin (free, btw).

Ok, the camera is pretty much finished, as well as the appearance loading.

Ok, so I listened to your feedback.
Gun uses .jpg for all PBR excluding normal maps; those ones still use .png since it has to be lossless.
It now uses Emissive Maps aswell
Nuked roughness, gun is no longer so shiny, improved normals, and fixed some textures.
I’m going to be honest, I see it being less reflective as a downgrade, but I will monetize off selling “glossy” skin

Here is some more models i made for this project
They are 1024x1024 and use .jpg/ jpg black-white format for everything but normal map
Heavily scp secret laboratory inspired
Wow! Buildings look immersive. Clean, polished. How long did it take to make. What are your future plans for First Gun Model: High-Quality, Super-Optimized, Only 958 Tris? Keep grinding, hero!
