First Model | Feedback would be appreciated

Today I decided to have a go at doing a bit of modelling. I decided to start of fairly simple with a pair of glasses, I made the frame on Fusion 360 and then imported it into Blender where I tried to add colour and add glass for the lenses (This failed as i did something with refraction which I have been trying to fix but had no success)

Any feedback would be very much appreciated

Not much I can say as I am a programmer, but from what I can see this looks quite incredible!

THAT is your first model? It’s amazing.
I don’t know much about glasses but the only suggestion I have is to maybe put the end of the glasses frame (the part that sticks out and curves down) a little further down.

Also there’s no need to worry much about the weird glass material in Blender if you’re exporting this to Roblox soon. Roblox has a Glass material so if you are planning to use it in-game then you’re covered. You’d probably have to export the lens and the frame separately if you still want to keep the usual material scheme.

Wow! That is amazing! I really wish I knew blender, but it sounds like so much work. The frame more to the left looks glitchy, but either than that, looks awesome! I could see myself wearing them. Now that’s class.

Looks awesome for your first model. Mine was a rock, so not much to say there.

For a first model that looks great. Way better than mine it honestly looks like a UGC item

hi this is great for a first model, also the third picture, if you can see on the glasses…yeah idk how to describe it. i dunno if this intended or not image

Thank you for your comment, I took the glass out and transferred the file to roblox studio, I made the alterations to the ends of the glasses as well and they look even better

Ik the colour is off slightly

Blender is a bit weird with refraction and rendering sometimes. That shouldn’t be an issue if they’re exporting the mesh into Studio because Studio has a glass material.

AMAZING! I would definitely buy it. Extremely good for your first model, I see potential.
