[FIXED] Feedback on my level design

I am very early in development of a roblox backrooms horror game. The map is extremely limited at this point, but i have a small area completed.

I wanted someone to test to see if anything breaks, doesn’t work properly or looks bad in general.

At this point there is only a couple scripts and a small map layout.

KEYBINDS:

F for flashlight
T to whistle
SHIFT for sprint

Some notes:

-this is not fully optimized for Mobile/console yet! only sprint works on console/mobile at this moment.
-some rooms not connecting to the ceiling was a personal design choice to give the level a fake sense to it (if that makes sense)

the game is locked

Huh. Thats odd. I have it set to public maybe it’s just too new.

Feel free to try again.

Thats so strange. I will probably have to change something in studio when i get home. I might have it public for friends only.

fixed. For some reason it was public for friends only. Should be fixed now.

i think you have a solid foundation and it has potential

a couple things that are odd though:

  1. some light effects clip through walls (most likely due to disabled shadows on your light effects)
  2. sprinting is broken, if you press shift and let go quickly, you’re able to sprint without stamina
  3. baseboards on the walls are rendering a bit quirky when far away (probably due to their small size, so i’d increase it)
  4. some lights are in collision with walls (not sure if you intended it that way)

also i’d consider adding camera swaying/realistic movement, jumping decreasing stamina, removing or changing the cursor icon, and expanding the map size

(also it’d be cool if you could explore this building):

I might keep the lights clipping under the context that reality itself is glitching (I.e I am not going back and fixing each light individually )
