Hiya! On my latest game I’ve decided to have robots as the main characters! After making the rigs and doing a bit of animating the core animations, I was about to start animating the tools in my game, when I realized that when I dragged the tools into the character in the explorer, the tool did not connect with the hand! I tried adding the usual attachments which are found in character hands but it still didn’t work. Any idea how to fix this? Any help would be much appreciated!
I would make a video to better explain but I don’t currently have access to my computer. I hope the information provided will be enough.
Hey, I am not a tool master so I won’t have much input but with the attachments and rig parts, are they named accordingly to core Roblox avatars? The handle (if require handle is enabled) will probably be looking for “Left Attachment”, “Right hand”, etc
The core Roblox scripts responsible for tools might be looking for specific names, however someone with the proper knowledge please correct me if I am wrong.
My only other guess would be a tool handle error, make sure to use a handle if it is enabled!

Hopefully you fix your issue soon, happy developing

Hello! Thank you so much for the reply even though I didn’t include much information. It turns out I needed to have the Humanoid of the rig set to R15 for RigType but thank you anyway for trying to help
