Flickering + Brickcolor error, backend change?

I am suddenly receiving bizarre errors related to avatar colors

		local AppearanceData
		local success, response = pcall(function()
			AppearanceData = game.Players:GetCharacterAppearanceInfoAsync(Player.UserId)
		end)
		if success and AppearanceData then
			if AppearanceData.bodyColors.headColorId then
				local Color = BrickColor.new(AppearanceData.bodyColors.headColorId)
				Player:SetAttribute("Color",Color.Color)
			end
		end

invalid argument #1 to ‘new’ (Color3 expected, got BrickColor)
Only happening on new servers. Did roblox change another backend thing again?
Update: It seems there is a lighting flickering issue as well. Again we changed nothing in our game but these issues are new popping up on newer servers, I am looking to see if other developers are getting reports of them.

This also happened to me before. If they’re breaking BrickColor, thats dumb. Try to change the value to a Color3.

It seems this recent roblox update is also causing lighting/LOD flickering issues

I cannot submit bug reports for any of this, is anyone else getting reports of these issues?

I don’t know about the other possible backend issue, but just looking at the error: If AppearanceData.bodyColors.headColorId is already a BrickColor, why not just use it? (Unless I missed something)

I fixed this by just grabbing the Color3 directly. It worked fine for a long time but only just broke today. I believe it was there due to the data originally being a string and not the actual BrickColor datatype.
