Flowing river, is it possible?

I have a riverbed mesh and I’m wondering if its possible to make a flowing river.
Does anyone have a genera

you can use a mix of beams and particles

The sand is a mesh? The water is a part?
Maybe, create a realistic texture to apply on the part, and tween the texture or the part, on a constant loop.

I wonder how ur river looks like, I mean, u can swim in it? I dont understand ur approach by only sight :3
