When moving my camera using keyboard (WASD), after a few moments of camera movement, the camera movement speed accelerates rapidly to no end, until I stop moving, where it resets back to normal, only for the process to repeat the next time I try to move.
In my last post I detailed how a previous way to fix this issue was to enable the beta feature “New Studio Camera Controls”, but that beta feature has since been updated to introduce a slew of new features that I heavily dislike.
The reason I closed my last post is that I seemed to have solved the problem with a complete reinstall of Roblox Studio and Roblox, clearing my LocalAppData’s Roblox folder. This worked for a while, but soon after the problem reoccurred.
It’d be nice to have a toggle to disable acceleration, assuming the camera speed’s acceleration is intentional (hopefully to a lesser extent to what’s happening to me right now). The issue’s still occurring, even after another total reinstall of Studio, and it’s getting pretty frustrating to deal with.
It seems to be different speeds depending on which game is being edited. On the same camera movement speed setting in studio, one place would be very slow, while another would be extremely fast.
