Squidzyee - Building Portfolio

About Me

I am a Roblox builder from the UK that specifically specialises in creating clean, optimised and modern looking builds for your projects. I have worked with many groups, games and users in the past, and I am looking to work with plenty more.

Please Note: All my builds are constructed with mostly parts and I use very little to no meshes as I do not use 3D modelling software.

Work Examples

Steve Jobs Theatre (2021)

Delivered within a few days based on some references images of the real-life Steve Jobs Theatre at Apple Headquarters in California. Was used by a community for an awards event.

Emerald Theatre V6 (2020)

Created for a theatre roleplaying group. This version released in 2021 and was mostly used until 2026. It featured a central, circular lobby to enhance RP interaction, and a comfortably sized theatre area for shows to take place, with enough seating to support 50 player servers.

Burger Queen V6 (2020)

Built for an RP group which had over 250k+ members and up to 100 CCU in its most active period. The build had to be optimised, yet detailed and interesting. The owners wanted a bar area for people to order, instead of traditional counters. Seating was placed around a central kitchen area, to emphasise the importance of ordering food to players.

Game Lobby (2020)

A game lobby I made for a small personal project I wasn’t able to release. The shop areas were all together at the back, with opportunities for expansion on either side. This linked to an area which could host mini games, or seating in-between rounds. Additionally, there was space for developer credits and an FAQ board.

Whacky Exteriors (2021)

Some unused exteriors I made for a prominent UGC creator. I used full creative liberty and made buildings which were intended to be used for a UGC game. The buildings would have displayed the creator’s items for players to purchase, so having different themes was central for housing a wide range of UGC’s.

Modern Restaurant (2021)

A restaurant concept that wasn’t used which I made for myself. I wanted to use the central kitchen concept from BQ V6, but add more elevation and more interest, by using a hanging lighting feature and detail which would attract players to the main intention of the experience.

Post 2022

Burger Restaurant (2022)

A restaurant which I built for the former owner of Burger Queen (albeit for a different group). Although not used, this was still a fun build to make. I was specified to create a low-poly looking exterior, but made sure to create an interior that was detailed, functional and themed similar to a Five Guys or an American Diner, fused with some Wild West inspirations through the usage of wood throughout.

Nova Hotels Awards Theatre (2022)

Theatre based on the Bloxy Awards 2018 theatre created for Nova Hotels. They used this for their annual awards show to recognise members of their community. The build needed to support 100+ players and run smoothly, as there was an additional corresponding livestream.

Unfinished Cafe Concept (2022)

A concept I had started, but did not finish as the client pulled out. The build followed a green theme. For the foliage, I used textures on invisible parts, and focused much of the detail into the windows to create interesting points of attention. I loosely based parts of the build from Koala Cafe as I liked their use of theme.

SM Games HQ (2023)

A HQ build I made for SM Games. They wanted a build which included a cafe, office building, a stage area and places to socialise. I was given inspiration of Gymshark’s physical HQ in the UK, which I used for the exterior, and made the different environments feed off a central lobby, which included a reception and some central seating.

Nightclub for Nova Hotels (2024)

A small nightclub I made for Nova Hotels, intended as an integration or special room within their game. Unsure if this made the light of day, but it was important to make the space compact, yet large enough to support high player counts and run smoothly.

Tropical Training Center for Nova Hotels (2024)

Another build for Nova Hotels. I created a training centre inspired by Kecai, and although this was a significant change of creative direction for Nova, I wanted to create something fresh and exciting. I wanted the training rooms to be centred around the lobby area, with the receptionist training looking down onto the seating area. The other training rooms were located on the first floor. It needed to be large enough and optimised enough to support sessions of 50+ individuals.

Squid Game Lobby (2025)

A small commission I made for someone. The build needed to be large enough to support those spawning into the game, and feature leaderboards and shop areas. Equally, it needed to be undeniably Squid Game!

Game Lobby (2025)

A lobby for a project I was working on that ended up abandoned. I wanted to create a lobby with many areas of interest. Players spawned directly into a central zone with map selection and shops. This would place their eyes onto monetised aspects of the experience first, allowing for more revenue. They could then walk through the lobby to the leaderboard sections, obbies for downtime and a “criminal lair” which tied into the theme of the game (Cops and Robbers). I based the layout initially on the Rivals lobby.

Bank Map (2025)

A finished map for the same project as the game lobby. The map needed to be compact, yet large enough for robbers to evade detection, and for cops to be able to find robbers. The map was also connected through vents which players could walk/crawl through, so the layout had to flow well in two different directions of travel. There was three floors, a commercial bank area, a bottom level with offices, server room, surveillance, and an underground safe which players could attempt to steal from for an ultimate prize.

Jewellery Store Map (2025)

This map was not fully finished, but it followed the same design principles as the bank map. It would have revolved around a central jewellery area, with backrooms being offices, jewellers, storage units and surveillance rooms. Players would have been connected to different rooms by vents in a similar fashion.

Small Island Town Map (2025)

A small town map I made for a client. I used a combination of smooth terrain, contrasted with basic part building techniques, to make a map which felt fresh, bright and vibrant. I wanted it to look like a small, quaint coastal town, and added a small wipeout obby for people to play during round intermissions.

2016 Style Assets (2026)

Some assets I made for a small project I’m currently working on. It is a small game based on a baseplate, where assets are swapped out on occasion to keep the map feeling fresh. The assets needed to be clean and of a particular cohesive style to ensure players aren’t bored of seeing assets which are not up to quality.

Lucky Blocks (2026)

Some lucky blocks I made for fun. Vibe coded a spinning animating system using TweenService.

Payments

I use an hourly rate of £20 GBP or 8,500 Robux when assessing the projected cost of a commission. I am, however, usually quite flexible in negotiations.

For instance, if you commission me for a map which I estimate will take 10 hours to build, this would cost £200 GBP or 75,000 Robux. If you commission me for assets which I estimate to take 2 hours to make, this would cost £40 GBP or 17,000 Robux.

For larger projects, I apply a minimum fee of £100 GBP or 37,500 Robux. This minimum is credited toward the total cost, with additional hours charged at my standard hourly rate where applicable.

I accept Robux through group funds, or T-Shirts if tax is covered.
I also accept GBP, EUR or USD through PayPal, or via bank transfer if located in the UK.
For some projects, I may accept a combination of equity + up-front payment, but this is at my discretion.

Realistic styles aren’t something I ever really practice - I stick to more modern and cartoony looking builds. Maybe I’ll have to try and attempt it in the near future?

Very cool creations, keep it up!

Question, why no SCPF, Military, Political Groups, Ro Nations or Medevil groups? Is it just a personal preferance or are they out of your style?

I have two reasons for not working with these styles.

  • I’m not confident or very talented with these styles of building.
  • I’m not really a big fan of any of those communities.

I want to work with people that I can have good connections with, and I’m not really into any of those genres. Personally, I’ll need to have a good working connection with my commissioners, and if I was building in those styles, It’d prevent me from doing my best job.
