found a model that says it lacks scripts but has scripts

how on earth did you mess up this bad, Roblox???
it should be OBVIOUS there’s instances of scripts inside the model, yet somehow you screwed up as per usual
this is a serious breach of trust.
Fix this. NOW.

yes, I did check it on the website, it shows up there too with the scripts inside.

Expected behavior

should say “yes” to “contains scripts” for any model that has instances of scripts.

can you give us asset id so its easier for roblox staff to fix this

Did the model also give you the “This model has scripts inside” warning when inserting? (Assuming you haven’t turned off that warning)

First off, you failed to actually link the item. How are Roblox staff going to know how to fix this without an example?

Second off, writing in a derogatory tone is absolutely not acceptable. Don’t be rude to the same people you’re reporting an issue to.

Probably because the “Contains Scripts” metadata only gets updated when the asset is updated, but this model preceded that feature.

Noob Trap Fake Giver - Creator Store

that’s most likely the reason

Thanks for reporting the issue. Could you please share the Asset Id so that we can debug this.

hard to tell, but it’s likely you’re using the worse studio UI beta feature
or something similar, I do not know how you did that with toolbox. trying to look closer for me takes up the whole toolbox instead of just a popup.
I’d like to know; it was better when that was a thing.

my point is still proven to be true because once they fully release that UI your bug is gonna be patched
