I experimented with voronoi fracture today! It’s a nice effect and I’ll use this for future GFX!
Last post, I was criticized for having unrealistic cracks in my walls. As one commenter mentioned, you could definitely do cracks in many 3D programs. I think this is a step towards that. I’m not completely finished though.
Now, I want your feedback on which one is best. Take account of:
Realism (Which one is more like real life?)
Looks (Which one is better to look at?)
Interesting? (Which fracture is more interesting?)
As always, give feedback and not bad criticism. Keep in mind that I didn’t try to make this scene good as it was just a test lol
Vote “Left” or “Right.”
The left one is way more realistic. Even though the right one might look smoother or “Better,” the left one is the way to go.
What makes it better is how it stops when it hits the character when the right one just slides off of him.
