Update logs, this replaced the description update logs. Also keeps track of previous updates.

QUICK UPDATE:

  • Added a toggle for highlights
    • I tried something like this but it looked bad with SelectionBoxes & it wasn’t possible at the time with Roblox’s rendering system.
  • Fixed knife tripling speed for 5 frames when someone had 54 fps.

WHAT’S NEW?

  • Fixed crate’s spinning inaccuracy
    • Also scales better with different screen sizes now
  • Remodelled the arcade machine
    • Switched to ProximityPrompt instead of ClickDetector
    • Optimizations to gumball machine (39,744 → 4,048)
  • Custom ScreenGui when teleporting.
    • Appears when teleporting to the Tutorial and back.
  • Fixed a few knives’ textures.

this update was rather aimed at patches, optimizations & very slight changes. expectations should not be high

  • COMPLETELY reworked round system. (it looks cleaner for me in studio, should stop memory leaks & will improve the speed for me making new game modes)
  • Fixed Silver Stivcvc’s skin
  • Changed everything required for the audio update
    • Changed the ambience noise & a few kill sounds. Other than that, this game wasn’t affected much somehow! (even though none of the audio was uploaded by me)
    • Unfortunately because of this the Boombox is offsale until something changes regarding the audio update (if not forever)
  • Fixed sitting immortality bug
    • Happened when a player remained seated and would never die but could kill you
  • Fixed spawn very rarely spawning you outside the map.
  • It should no longer happen that a round goes on forever with only one person alive.

WHAT’S NEW?

  • RIBBONS! Ribbons are finally here.
  • Input visualizer - PC ONLY (turn on from settings)
    • Smooth light-up animations
    • CPS counter (both left and right click)
    • Supported keys: W, A, S, D, Left Click, Right Clickprofiles
  • Added a button with a secret purpose to the lobby. (150s or 2:30 hold-time)
  • Reworked Bubblegum machine
    • It now uses a proximity prompt instead of server-sided laggy, wacky UI.
  • Minor UI changes:
    • New case opening animation
    • Added another knife to “Knives” button’s background
    • Button interaction mechanic modified at some buttons
  • Backend rework for the Leaderboard
    • You shouldn’t notice much of a difference
    • There’s no data loss, loading is just faster by a little bit
  • Disguise costume is changed
    • Spawning on the roof with disguise is also fixed

WHAT’S NEW?

  • 6 new knives:
    • Skittle (Epic case)
    • Fish knife (Legendary case: replaced Crystal; Mythical case: replaced Hex)
    • 4 halloween knives that will appear in the halloween case
  • UI Changes:
    • A lot of fonts are updated from outdated (old templates)
    • Majority of the UI update should no longer feel rushed.
    • Opening cases should feel slightly faster
  • The door at the wall
    • It’s completely removed. It didn’t serve much purpose other than you just hitting it. Or somebody else
    • Reason for deletion: If you were punching the door while seated, the chair would glitch out of bounds and it will be stuck there forever in that server.
    • As the door was pretty much useless, I’ve decided not to fix it and instead completely remove it.
  • Deleted Stacks map:
    • Map used to have chairs stacked on top of each other. Because of this, when players
      got unseated, they got stuck a lot of times, causing them to lose in an unfair way.
    • Giving 0.3 studs of distance between chairs (causing them to float) was done in order to try to fix this, however unsuccessful. Not wanting floating chairs, I have decided to completely delete the map.
  • Map changes:
    • Cards table is now more optimized
    • Circle table’s chairs have a very little different rotation
    • Seats parts (not chairs) no longer have hitboxes

WHAT’S NEW?

  • HALLOWEEN CASE will be available from Oct 25th - Oct 31st

    • It is automatic so it will enable itself automatically
  • Data wipe due to the following changes:

    • Data system rewrite
    • Backend patch
    • Only kills weren’t reset. Knives & credits were wiped
    • This update was needed to reduce data losses.
      having proof of previously owning items will have them restored
  • Map changes:

    • Ceiling moved down, 2 lights added, walls are darker, arcade machine is made of wood now (this might be restored)
    • Lighting was changed from Future to ShadowMap. This is to improve performance and to make the lighting around the player more visible: Instead of lighting the sides of limbs, the entire limb is now lit.
    • That useless door by a wall was revamped
  • Disguise revamp:

    • 3 second cooldown was added
    • You now have a blocky package character
    • Humanoid stats are completely the same as a regular player’s, now
  • UI Changes:

    • Replaced character accessories inside Animations with caps.
    • Button outlines glow too when you hover over a button.
    • Highlight removed (see reason at Map changes).
    • Center aim-lock: Mobile users only.
    • Boombox button was removed (read more below).
  • Changes to Boombox & Equip system:

    • Previously, your knife and gun were always in your backpack (you just weren’t able to equip them) which made it easier to change the skins. They are no longer in your backpack by default.
    • How will I get the items? You will have them in your inventory by the time you had it forcefully equipped. Right now, you have the option to equip/unequip it.
    • Boombox will now be in your inventory when you spawn. You don’t have a way of losing it.
  • A lot of backend optimizations

    • High-end devices shouldn’t feel a huge FPS boost, but it is there.
    • Low-end devices should have a ranging FPS boost, not a huge one, but it should be better.
