While attempt to join games and/or switching servers, I frequently encounter the following error:
Failed to connect to the game. (ID = 17; Connection attempt failed.) Error Code: 279
Upon further investigation using Wireshark, I discovered that the Roblox client is attempting to establish UDP connections to relay servers in the 128.116.50.x range, located in Singapore. However, many of these attempts result in ICMP Type 3 Code 3 responses:
Destination unreachable (Port unreachable)
This seems to indicate that the destination server is not accepting UDP traffic on the assigned port, which results in the client failing to establish a connection and triggering the error (as far as I know)
Please verify if Roblox servers in the 128.116.50.x IP range are misconfigured or are incorrectly rejecting expected UDP traffic.
I also opened all ports in the range 49152 - 65535, but that didn’t do much.

Please let me know if there’s any other information I can provide.
EDIT: Although I’m not sure if it’s related, this issue has been happening since around the time “Grow a Garden” started getting bigger. I heard that roblox had to upgrade their infrastructure to support the numbers, so maybe something is being done now that my ISP doesn’t like?
