The list for the animation publishing menu/window, specifically after clicking on “overwrite an existing asset…”
is showing the animations in a COMPLETELY RANDOM ORDER.
usually, the list i mentioned shows the animations in a very simple order:
from latest published animation, to the oldest published animation.
this has never happened before, and it only started happening a few days before writing this bug report.
its hard to prove that it shouldnt be like this, but as you can see in this screenshot:
i had to SCROLL just to find that single animation to overwrite, and had to find it within a whole mess of OTHER randomized animations!!
that wouldnt have happened, if the list had shown the correct order. (from latest published animation, to the oldest published animation.)
additionally, you can see that the list is completely randomized judging by the names of the animations alone!!!
so im not the only one having this same issue, i’m having the same thing but the animation i wanted to overwrite doesnt show up at all, let alone using filter id on it
