Future Is Bright - Player Shadow Question

First up, great update - took a little bit to tune my game but the general feeling is that the results are much richer. The proper dynamic light support is great too.

Second, I now have player shadows! They look amazing and when they work, they really ground the player in the level. My camera is fixed above the world, but as soon as the player gets too far away their shadows fade out.

Is there any way to fix this or adjust the shadow settings? I’d settle for lower quality but always visible shadows for my use case.
