Gambling with knowing if you're game is fun to play

sup.

i made this random game because i was bored over the course of like 4 days, and i kinda’ feel like advertising it soon. i’d like to know some methods people use for knowing if the game is ‘fun’ to play.

what is the game about?

  • my game, Sworld, is a combination of a fighting game, and a hangout game. you can kill other players, and swap your inventory with whatever they had, or just hangout like literally any other hangout game.

i’ve made some games in the past and run ads for them. most i’ve gotten is 11 players at one time, but that’s not really a lot to tell if the game’s fun. most of the time, it’s really 1-3 people, and it’s a hard tell. from my experience, when a game has a very low amount of players, people just don’t play it for very long.

when i’ve had more than 10 people, players stick with playing it since there’s more “activity” within the game. this does not help me know if it’s fun to play, since both of these events happened in the same game.

do i run more money on my ads/sponsorships? do i take closer look at what the players are doing inside of the game? not sure what to do here.

link of the game (im yet to add the swapping feature, but am close to finishing it)
