Hi, this morning I logged into Roblox and suddenly got a message saying my game violates some rules. My game’s been running for almost 6 years and it is first time seeing this message, so I panicked and sent an appeal immediately without knowing what’s happening. After the first response (which was fast, under an hour), I attempted to guess what was wrong and tried to update my game by removing alcohol references, then appeal again, which got denied within an hour again, but this time, I realized it’s also the last appeal I can have for this game experience.
Asset Name:
Can You Find Everything?
Place ID:
5600975759
I actually didn’t know there are appeal limits as the appeal submission page lacks this information. Although I still have no clue why my game is violating the rules, I continue to make various changes and republished the game. However, since I ran out of appeals, I have no channels to ask for another moderation.
I’d sincerely seek a human staff to support this and let me know it’s not the AI that is auto responding and that my game is really breaking some rules, hopefully you can help point out more specifically so that I can modify the game to be compliant of standards. I have thousands of players supporting me on this, my game is very kids friendly and I really want to fix whatever problem it has to make it live again.
Please help.

I want to update this post for everyone who might have the same issue of their games being banned. My game is now alive again. So what happened?
- I woke up one day seeing the game banned.
- I immediately appealed without changing a thing (BIG MISTAKE), you should not panic first.
- The warning message you get will obviously tell you what category of violation you have, but I can tell you, it’s useless. I guessed 3 times and re-appealed and got got denied, because all my guesses were wrong. Since you only get 2 appeals for experience, DON’T GUESS.
- So what you do is, find the Contact Us form in the support links, there is a category for Appeal for Content removal or something, use that one. Make sure you include your game details in the email and why you appealing. You should ask politely for clues on what violation your game really did wrong in.
- Once you sent the contact an email, then Roblox will have someone respond back within one day (all my emails got responded fairly quickly but not like instantly). The email will contain EXACTLY which model violated what rule! That helped me to fix things. For my case, it was a model that looked like an alcoholic drink so I just need to turn it into something else.
- Republish the game and email them to re-moderate. Viola! It works! They lifted the suspension immediately after several hours!
- Please note that for my game, after it comes back alive, you need to re-enable private servers again, somehow that settings got disabled.
- Also another sharing in case you are using ads, during the game was down, ads was automatically changed to ‘rejected’ mode, so I guess you no need to go disable it anyway. Then when the game came back alive, it automatically becomes active again.
I hope this helps everyone else who’re frustrated or nervous about game bans. It’s my first time (hope it’s the only time) going through this. I really hope everyone’s game survive the scare. Good luck!

What if we are unable to go in studio though? My game got banned for “sexual content” and my experience got locked. Here is my forum if you would like to read about my situation: Experience moderated for “Sexual Content”, no escalation path after appeals are exhausted - #6 by fitmanlondon
Hey I updated the game, got the appeal accepted and the game is still down, do you know what I could do in this situation?
I can vouch for this, ive even had groups unlocked with this.
Do you know what I could do then?
You should go to Roblox Support, if you’re on mobile then the process is Help & Safety > Violations & Appeals > to appeal something not shown, visit support, enter in all the information help category appeal a decision, I was moderated for content or assets I created, specifically grab the places placeid and not the universe as it helps more often, you can do this by going to the create hub > going to the specific place > Configure > Places > click the place and in the link it’ll be the second id > then just explain the situation, also include if theres anything you need to change to let you know as they’ll most of the time tell you specifically what needs to be changed.
may still take a couple days, or could take a couple hours if its longer than 4 days i would make a brand new ticket, or if you have a developer with high perms you can also ask them to appeal too as that seems to work, although pretty sure it only works for groups, you’re welcome
