I am creating a game, but I don’t know what to add because it’s similar to “Grow a Garden.” I’m not sure how to make it different from “Grow a Garden.” What features or elements could I include that “Grow a Garden” doesn’t have? like make a house where players can do stuff or what also people can get pets in their house.
I have based on Stardew valley on some suggestions but here they are:
Seasons: crops change with spring, summer, fall, winter.
Weather/pests: storms, droughts, bugs players fight against.
Cooking: turn harvests into meals to sell or eat.
House upgrades: furniture, tools, storage.
Pets with purpose: dogs scare pests, cats boost happiness, birds spread seeds.
Neighborhood: visit others, trade, contests.
Mini-games: watering, pest swatting, pollination.
Exploration: collect rare seeds, magical plants outside your farm.
Research tree: unlock fertilizers, greenhouses, hybrid crops.
Quests: NPCs ask for crops, build reputation.
Good luck developing your game!

I plan to add NPCs that will request crops and help build reputation. Additionally, I will introduce a cooking feature that allows players to turn harvested crops into meals for selling or eating.
There will also be house upgrades, including furniture, tools, and storage. Thank you for your ideas; I love some of them! I may incorporate more in the future, but right now I’m focused on something else in the game.
