Game Music Feedback

I am looking for feedback on these songs for a Piggy Fan-Game as well as opinions on which 2 are the best and which 2 are the worst.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LISTEN TO ALL OF THE SONGS TO GIVE FEEDBACK ON ANY INDIVIDUAL ONE

EDIT: Added an 8th song.

Here’s my personal opinion:

These tracks are all pretty good!

However, I don’t think it really fits the style of Piggy as it feels more “cartoony” and less horror like to say the least. (A question that I have is if these supposed to be themes or background music?)

They are meant to be themes.

You did not state whether you made these or not. Question: Did you make them? Or did you just find them?

I did make them, that’s why I’m asking for feedback.

What software did you use for creating these music?

Song 1: Good, it gets a bit messy at around 0:28, trying using an E flat instead of those E’s or experiment with other chords.

Song 2: It gets messy near to the end, it doesn’t sound like a song anymore in the last 10 seconds. Its fine though if its intended

Song 3: The buzz hurts my ears, trying turning the volume of it a bit down to emphasize on the melody. Fits the theme well

Song 4: I feel like you’re trying to build up stress by adding more layers of instruments, how about increasing the volume and pitch instead? It could work better. Chords near the end feel a bit off. Diminished 7th chords would work better there imo

Song 5: Try making the drums hit harder but maintaning the volume (at the start). Like every other song above at around 0:23 the tone feels off

Song 6: Near the last 20-25 seconds… the bottom melody (not the repeating notes throughout the song) just changes the mood of the song immediately, doesn’t have that creepy kind of vibe

Song 7: Probably best one, maybe try changing the dynamics?

All of the songs have the same problem which is that the note choices could have been way better. The instruments are fine, try changing the dynamics. All of them are about the same quality. I can try and help you find better note choices if you want. You should go do research about this genre of music like what are the chords used etc

really nice music, but it feels kind of janky and unregulated

I would say tracks are pretty good but what I would have done differently is that I would have added a little sense of cartoony soundtrack as piggy is like a cartoonish game

In my opinion, number one and number seven are the best, but they both sound pretty similar. I suggest trying to use different scales to make each one sound a bit more unique.

I use a website called BeepBox to make the music. I know it’s not professional or anything, but I haven’t really looked into anything else so for now I’m stuck with this. Also, I have done my best to follow your feedback, if I messed something up please let me know. (They’re links to the website with the songs btw)

1(125 BPM) OR 1(150BPM) I made two versions, one at 125 BPM and one at 150BPM as @snowysnowy2015 said 7 and 1 sounded too similar, and 7 only really sounded good at its current speed imo.

You could try sunvox or FL studio, it’s really good
