Hi! Last year i made a tycoon game and advertised it with only 12 ad credits, and when searched i could find the game easily. This year, i remade the game as it was dead long ago and advertised using around 100. Average play time was better, ctr was better, it even reached 50 ccu for an hour. But still when searched after a week of constant ads, i can’t find the game no matter how much i scroll down. I am confused as i never saw something like this. Did roblox change how the games are searched? Thank you.
I think its just because their search engine for games on the platform is trash. They never show exact results and its pretty buggy so Its not too surprising.
Roblox can actually shadow-ban certain games for different reasons. One of my games got shadowbanned for being rated as a Hangout game. Even after changing the rating it was still shadowbanned.
Thanks for answering. Yes it makes sense, a lot actually. My game was sharing a similar name and description to another game even though the games itself were different. Maybe that was the reason.
I found games with 20 visits above mine it’s crazy
