Starting around August 7, 2026, I have been unable to purchase game passes through the Roblox website. When I open an on-sale pass from its originating experience’s Store tab, click Buy, and confirm the purchase, Roblox returns the following response:

Reproduction steps
- Sign in to Roblox.
- Open an experience’s official page on the Roblox website.
- Open that experience’s Store tab.
- Select an on-sale game pass belonging to that experience.
- Click Buy and confirm the purchase.
- The purchase fails with
XSRF token invalid.
Troubleshooting already attempted
- Reset the Roblox password to invalidate existing sessions and receive a fresh session.
- Signed out and back in.
- Cleared browser cookies and cache and performed a hard reload.
- Tested on a different device.
- Tested on both the mobile and desktop Roblox websites.
- Tested using a different Wi-Fi network.
- Tested multiple unrelated game passes.
The error persists in every case. The account remains signed in normally, has sufficient Robux, and no Robux is deducted when the error occurs. Other website functionality appears to work. This report is specifically about normal website purchases from the pass’s originating experience Store tab, not an in-game cross-experience purchase.
Expected behavior
After confirming the purchase, the game pass should be added to the account and the displayed Robux price should be deducted. A fresh authenticated browser session should receive and use a valid XSRF token automatically.
