Game place disconnection, "You don't have access to this place" and "Access Denied" for self-owned experiences

As said in the title itself, the studio randomly kicks me out of my session at the place that I own, anywhere between 5 minutes and 2 hours, with an error window stating “Access Denied.” After closing the dialogue window and attempting to open the same place -

  • Has again the chances to kick you out within the first few minutes, but this time with the “You don’t have access to this place” error window.
  • Doesn’t even open the place and gets stuck on loading and throws the “We could not join the Team Create session for place. Connection error 279”

After which, it won’t let me join the place with the same error window as before, fully terminating the studio and re-opening works, but repeats the same issue from the beginning this time.

From what I’ve noticed, this is only happening with places that I own myself under the team-create setting turned on. While I haven’t tested it on a local file, I’m certain this only happens in this scenario. This issue doesn’t seem to happen with places owned by someone else or under a group, as far as I’m aware, and in my test case ( or most commonly noticed in the places owned by me ).

As far as I’m aware, the beta features are not causing this issue, as it would be known by now in the community. But I will still include mine just in case. Beta Features Enabled:
3D Importer in ACE, Assistant Mesh Generation, Avatar Joint Upgrade, Dragger QoL Improvements, Face Capture, glTF Export, Improved Constraint Tool, In-Experience Avatar Auto Setup, Live Animation Creator, Multi-line Command Bar, New Video API, Proximity Prompt Indicators, Reimport, Script Sync, Scripts Are Non-Strict By Default, Texture Generator, Universal Importer, User Provided Default Instances, Video Uploads

Somehow, this issue was only noticed by the Indian IP users referenced here. I’m making this post to show all the required information in detail to make the process of fixing this smoother. This is a very annoying issue, and it has to be fixed as it hinders schedules and workflow.

I thought this was an issue on my end and attempted to do things that might fix it. But I was unsuccessful. I ran the studio log file through Gemini AI, which suggested me to get rid of some plugins that were throwing errors ( has been for many years with no issues in the studio whatsoever). I still decided to turn them off, which didn’t fix the issue. Then the other two suggestions didn’t help either.

I’m using the latest studio: 0.706.0.7060750 (64bit)

I’ve included the log file for the studio session in the “staff-only” section.
I hope this issue is resolved as soon as possible! Thank you in advance.

I don’t think I faced this issue for the past day or two; I wasn’t using Studio quite as much, so I cannot confirm. I hope it was a server-wide issue for Indian IP users. I’ll confirm again if it happens. Expect a response from me by tomorrow!

Yes there was a server wide issue with Indian IPs, sorry about that. We deployed a fix about two days ago - Roblox Studio “Access Denied” (RCC-1) when opening my own experiences and group projects - #24 by weeek53. Thank you for the patience
