Does my game have high potential?, been working on a cultivation game that defies other cultivation games by not being a afk simulator. The progress of the game took 6 months and is also my total time as a roblox dev. {Alpha} Peak of Cultivation - Roblox
Hard to say.
At the moment it’s not very accessible and gives a questionable new player experience with forced character creation which requires to select every category (it’s hard to tell which items are category, there’s no skip or randomize options) and office intro which is confusing if you’re expecting a different game and serves no purpose as far as I can tell (story, maybe?).
At that point I was already a bit tired and gave up on the main gameplay fast. Definitely needs an option to sprint if you’ll have players traveling around on foot a lot.
It’s hard to figure out the main objective of the game, and you should REALLY add a character randomizer, or a default character, because that intro character designing UI was very hard to navigate. It made me want to give up and leave the game.
I played the game a little bit and I have some suggestions for you.

Add an accessible option that lets players skip the character customization menu.

Create an additional guide/explanation bar that makes it easier for new players to get the hang of the game and your story.

Also work on the game thumbnail, I believe it could use some shrinking and darker text.

I would say this has a potetional to have a player base. But you must change some stuff like people suggest within this comment section.
