Canary Gaming
What is it?
Canary gaming is a new way to play roblox on your desktop. After the recent changes to the roblox client, the new desktop app (that is extremely frowned upon) is now forced on your device. I would absolutely love to make a game, that works and functions just as the website, with more features. For example, live avatar changing, and keybinds you can set for specific tasks.
Why is it a good idea?
As said before, most people hate the new desktop app. This would serve as something better to use (from most people’s standards).

Is it doable in your opinion?
The game will be fully modular, so expect new features to roll out quickly without too many bugs if this ever happens.

I think that could work, and people may actually use it. However, would there be a way to add extensions like on Chrome and other browsers? Many people use those on the website, and it’s another reason people don’t like the desktop app.

True. I could add an extension store, where I could add extensions that people request to me to it. Obviously, I will look through the code to make sure its virus free.
So in reality, all you need is programming experience in Lua, you will be able to simply make something like this for yourself.

Would Roblox itself even allow you to make it though? They sometimes like to take stuff down, and if you pose a threat to their plans, they may either take your game down or, best case scenario, just add the features themselves. The first one would seem more likely though, considering what Roblox has done in the past.

I wouldn’t see why they would. They wouldn’t offer some of the apis if they didn’t allow you to use them, and it’s not like I’m just making a copy of the ui either.

I think that the idea is okay. I wouldn’t use it because if this is real KreekCraft said that hes happy what he was told. And he hated it. Even if Roblox keeps it I still won’t use it because security.
