Game randomly has a major bug preventing players from playing

  • All of a sudden around 1 hour ago the main “button” that you press in our game randomly broke without any changes in the last few days that could’ve caused it. I even played earlier and it was just like normal but then after 1:40 AM CET I noticed our playercount rapidly decreasing, I then noticed that the button is permanently stuck on red aka being unable to play the next disaster and affected every server instantly.

  • When I play it in Roblox Studio everything still works like normal but not in the Roblox Player.

Expected behavior

The button should turn green and if pressed should play the next stage.

Did you check for any errors in the console?

Of course, we’ve been trying to figure this out for the past 2 hours but it seems to be more likely on roblox’s end since everything works as intended when we play in Roblox Studio and no errors or anything in the console. Making this bug report was a last resort.

Go in game and say “/Console” to check the current ingame console output and not the studio output console.

That’s one of the first things we did.

We managed to find a permanent fix after my dev partner woke up so I will be closing this now.
