Hello. When I tried to revert the game version it did not do anything.
I clicked on the “revert to this version” button and then “save”. When I opened studio it was the exact same version.
And it opened the same script, so I did not do anything at all. Not even reset the tabs and scripts i had open in studio when i closed it. Anyone know why?
Maybe you published your game two times in a row. Happens, try the other versions if there is any.
You might want to try going back a few versions instead of the last version, as @newtons3rdlaw_motion stated, you could have accidentally saved a version and you could’ve had no clue that it was saved. Remember to keep track of each version number to make sure you go back to the correct version if you accidentally switch to a version that you didn’t mean to switch to.
But I switched to a version that was a few days ago just to check. But it was still the exact same script.
Your best bet is to keep switching to different versions until you find the version with the correct script. You can try going back in increments of 1 day and once you hit a version that is completely different from what you’re looking for and just go through each version above the old version until you find the version you’re looking for.
Yeah probably. But its just weird. Since a print statement i made just before I shut down and saved the game, was on all the versions even the 2 days old…
This happened to me for a while but after a few tried it worked. Maybe disable team create and wait for a while after reverting before entering studio.
