RedShift Productions: Prisoner Life Game Rules
We intend to keep things fairly simple, these rules will rarely update.
1/1. Introduction
At RedShift Productions, we are committed to ensuring a fair and enjoyable experience for all players. This Moderation Policy outlines the rules and enforcement measures that apply within our game. All players are expected to adhere to these guidelines, and violations will result in appropriate disciplinary action.
2. Progressive Disciplinary Action
Once a player accumulates a designated number of formal warnings, they will be subject to a time-based suspension appropriate to the severity of the infractions. These suspensions are tied strictly to cumulative warnings, meaning any additional consequences issued independently (e.g., temporary bans or player-specific penalties) do not contribute to the cumulative warning count.
- Upon receiving three (3) cumulative warnings the player will be issued a three (3) day suspension.
- Upon receiving five (5) cumulative warnings the player will be issued a five (5) day suspension.
- Five (5) or more will result in an (appealable) Permanent suspension.
3. Warnable Infractions
Infractions listed under the ‘Warnable’ category will, by default, result in the issuance of a written warning. Depending on the severity of the violation or recurrence of behavior, additional disciplinary measures may be imposed at the discretion of Moderation.
1° Toxicity & Harassment
Engaging in toxic behavior, harassment, hate speech, or excessive profanity is not tolerated.
2° Tool & Perk Abuse
Abusing in-game tools or perks to disrupt gameplay or gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.
3° Chat Filter Bypass
Players may not bypass the Roblox Chat Filter, self explanatory.
4° Chat Spam & Flooding
Excessive or disruptive messaging, including attempts to bypass chat filters, is not tolerated.
5° Spawn Killing & Spawn Camping
Players are not allowed to repeatedly attack or eliminate others immediately after they spawn.
6° Advertising Other Games or Servers
Players may not promote external games, Discord servers, or third-party websites.
7° Staff Disrespect or Trolling
Persistent disrespect, trolling, or provocation directed at staff members will not be tolerated. Staff have the authority to issue warnings or remove players based on conduct.
4. Bannable Infractions
Infractions classified under the ‘Bannable’ category will, by default, result in a timed or permanent suspension from the game environment. All bannable actions are considered serious breaches of community standards and may result in immediate removal without prior warning.
1° Anti-Cheat Detection (Automated)
We utilize an advanced anti-cheat system known as Prison Life Anti-Cheat (PLAC) to detect and prevent cheating.
- First detection is a seven (7) day suspension. Subsequent detections are met with a permanent suspension. Bans by our Anti-Cheat engine are appealable only with video evidence.
2° Bug Exploiting & Glitching
The intentional abuse of in-game bugs, map glitches, or unintended mechanics to gain an advantage, disrupt gameplay, or bypass systems is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, map clipping, movement glitches, weapon/item duplication, or bypassing intended roleplay restrictions through unintended methods.
- Infractions of this rule warrant a three (3) day suspension. Subsequent infractions are met with an unappealable seven (7) day suspension.
3° Avoiding Punishment (Ban Evasion)
Attempting to evade punishment by using alternate accounts or exploiting game mechanics is strictly forbidden.
- Infractions of this rule warrant a seven (7) day suspension.
4° Impersonating Staff
Pretending to be a moderator, administrator, or developer is strictly prohibited.
- Infractions of this rule warrant a seven (7) day suspension.
5° Real-World Threats or Sensitive Topics
Any mention, threat, or joke related to real-world violence, terrorism, suicide, or other sensitive/traumatic events is strictly prohibited. This includes even “joking” references.
- Infractions of this rule warrant a seven (7) day suspension.
6° Inappropriate Roleplay or ERP
Any form of ERP or sexually suggestive behavior is strictly forbidden under Roblox’s Terms of Use and community rules.
- Infractions of this rule warrant an unappealable permanent suspension.
7° False Reporting or Abuse of Report System
Falsely reporting players, spamming reports, or using the report system maliciously will result in a warning or temporary suspension.
- Infractions of this rule warrant a three (3) suspension.
8° Staff Bribery & Accepting Bribes
Attempting to offer compensation, in-game rewards, external benefits, or other forms of influence to staff members in exchange for in-game advantages, rank changes, punishments being reversed, or other favorable treatment is strictly prohibited.
- Infractions of this rule warrant an unappealable permanent suspension.
