Game stuck in pending review for all age groups maturity label

My game was wrongly taken down on the 6th of August due to “spam”.

It was later reinstated as there was nothing wrong originally in the first place.

It has since been given a 16+ maturity label despite it previously being available to all ages. I do not believe a 16+ label is warranted in the first place, given the takedown of the game was entirely the fault of Roblox moderation’s mistake.

I have been waiting 24+ hours now for restoration to all players. The CCU has dropped immensely, and my players are confused as to why they can’t play my game.

There is no option to pay 100k to expedite a review, presumably because I was originally eligible.

Resolving this issue is of the upmost urgency to me. My players are asking why they cannot play the game, and the CCU and revenue has dropped significantly.

Im currently experiencing the same issue, except it was because of an explode troll in my game that was flagged as violence, I’ve submitted a new questionnaire and from what I’ve heard, the people reviewing these aren’t working over the weekends so you’ll have to wait till like Tuesday…

when my game first came out I paid the 100k on a Friday and didn’t get it approved until Tuesday morning so im assuming its the same here

my CCU has dropped from 2.5k all the way down to 60 and now is around 450 CCU because its only 16+ and trusted friends

best of luck

I have noticed that once games reach the “final review” phase to make the game available to all ages, a very strict AI system will run through every single model and script in the game, and even the game description.

Because two of my games were immediately banned by AI the moment they reached 500+ highly engaged users.

Anyways regarding your issue, I am not 100% sure but I think if you go to Configure > Settings and quickly set the game to Private, Save Changes and bring it back to Public again it should reset the review process.

But make sure to make an announcement and teleport your players to another baseplate game temporarily while you do this.

It looks like your game is now restored. Sometimes it just takes a little time for the final review to happen. We’ll look into why it took so long for your game.

Hi @Caelestene can you take a look at my game. It’s been taken down again for the exact same reason as last week. I’m honestly not sure why. It got reinstated last time once they found nothing wrong with it. I have made no changes since last week!

It looks like it’s already been restored. If it takes more than a few days next time, please let us know. But it takes a little while for the final review to happen.

Hi @Caelestene. My game was taken down for the 3rd time today for the same reason. The last two times were for “spam”, but it got reinstated without me needing to made any changes, or without me knowing why it was taken down in the first place since the violation messages are so vague. This disturbance is really detrimental to my game’s player base. Roblox support has been of no use, they always divulge the same generic messages.

At the time of writing, the game is unavailable for anyone to play.

Could you please shed some light as to what the issue is? Thank you.

I have just browsed the devforum, and come across this post:

Whilst our game ban reasons are different, what is consistent is that our game got taken down after the joining of the mentioned account. This is extremely alarming.
