Game title appears as "[Content Deleted]" in invites and when logged out

There is a visibility issue with my game “:earth_africa: Emote Social”. While the game is live, public, and fully playable, some users report that the game appears as “[Content Deleted]” in the following situations:

The game was taken down previously due to a false takedown, but I submitted a counter notice via RobloxAgent. It was restored after 13 days.

  • When receiving an invite to the game
  • When viewing the game page without being logged in
  • When seeing the game in mobile push notifications

This causes confusion for players and may hurt the reputation of the game even though it is not actually deleted.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Log out of your Roblox account
  2. Visit this link:
    [GGUM | +11] 🌍 Emote Social - Roblox
  3. The game name appears as “[Content Deleted]”
  4. Have a friend send you a game invite — it also shows as “[Content Deleted]”

Visual Evidence:

  • Invite screenshots showing “[Content Deleted]”
  • Push notification with same issue
  • Game page when logged out

All attachments have been added.

Expected behavior

The game title “[:earth_africa: Emote Social]([GGUM | +11] 🌍 Emote Social - Roblox)” should appear normally:

  • On invites
  • In notifications
  • When viewed by users not logged in

It should only display “[Content Deleted]” if the game has actually been moderated or removed, which is not the case.

Hey, just a quick tip, when this was reported in the past it is because either the base version (base language) of your game is still set to Content Deleted but you have fixed it in the localized (non-base language) of your game, or vice versa. I would check whether the localized versions of your game title are updated to the right value.

I’ll ping a relevant engineering team just in case.

Go to your experience settings > Content > Translate and see if any of the languages show the Content Deleted title.

URL looks something like /dashboard/creations/experiences/<id>/localization/translation

We also had this issue when our game was falsely DMCA striked (resolved matter)
Translations of titles etc were not automatically removed or updated, causing the game to still appear as [Content Deleted] in translated locales, which caused confusion and loss of players
