Hello, my game with over 18M visits (and average CCU of 1K-3K) recently got banned out of nowhere for the reason of “Discrimination, Slurs, and hate speech”. My game does NOT include anything of that sort (it is harmless) and has not received any moderation or warnings since it was created almost a year ago.
I contacted Roblox support multiple times already but they were unhelpful, only providing answers that “due to the severity of the violation committed” (game can’t be reopened) and not providing anything specifically.
Does anybody know how I could get my game restored or reviewed by a real person or anything helpful? This game is my only source of income, and i was maintaining it for multiple months, and for it to be deleted without a reason like that is really really sad.
If somebody knows anything that could help or even anything related, or a Roblox moderator could help solve this issue, please respond I would really really really appreciate it
If it is possible, i would like a Roblox moderator to review the game and give a clear reason to the ban, or re-open the game, because as i said i believe it does not include anything breaking the TOS
Sorry if i am asking the wrong person, but i’ve seen some people ask this person @Caelestene , if you could help with this issue i would really appreciate
Thanks a lot for the response (sorry for the delay)
The game is a football/soccer game inspired mostly by blue lock but its mostly in an unserious tone, it should have nothing causing that, but the game has a secret obby place and one of the community members suggested that it might have been caused by one of the automated chat messages in that place, basically if the player cannot complete the obby for a certain amount of time some harmless messages start appearing like “You suck at this” or “You should really quit trying” or “You are a failure” (they are not serious and dont mean any harm, and they arent even that bad), i added them as a joke or just to scare for fun, this is a stretch, but could have this been the reason?
Other from that, i really have no idea what could have caused this. The game also has a “Sign” emote that allows players to write text on it (that obviously gets filtered), since it’s not against TOS and goes through filtering (and other big games for example JJS have this too), i thought this wouldnt be an issue. Could have some players bypassed the filter and reported the text? Is that a possible reason? (and if it is because of that, is it appealable since it could be considered a false ban because another player wrote that?)
Also, Roblox said that the “severity of the violation” (basically it means its really bad), but could this be considered really bad?
(if you could answer i would really appreciate it)
This platform sucks if we have to create a whole devforum post and hope to be noticed just to be able to get your place back up. Not very motivating, and I can see why developers are leaving.
