Game with 200-300 CCU is now hidden from direct search

Recently, we’ve come across behavior in the experience search system that yields no results when our game’s name “Chicago Shootout” is searched:

This behavior has only begun to occur recently because our game has been searchable in this manner for quite a long time.

We have determined that it is not the term “Chicago” that is being blocked, as we show up if that is searched:

Additionally, we have determined that it is not the term “Shootout” that is being blocked either, because searching “Cali Shootout” yields the intended game which has very similar content:

Thus, we believe that the name “Chicago Shootout” is specifically being blocked for some odd reason, perhaps due to some additional search term blocking layer that Roblox has implemented.

Expected behavior

We expect that searching “Chicago Shootout” would show our game as a result.

I wonder if its some filter to prevent things like that one AMC theater shooting recreation from happening again

Do other terms with “Shootout” get filtered?

Another well-known game in the genre named “Cali Shootout” is not blocked from the search results. I’ve attached an image in my post to demonstrate.

This is very weird because you can search “Chicago Shootouts” but not “Chicago Shootout”… I wonder if this is happening with other games too. This should be addressed quickly.

Hi, sorry for the inconvenience. Our team looked into this and fixed the issue. “chicago shootout” and “chicago shootouts” should both be searchable now. Thanks for reporting.
