Because I am rather broke, I can’t afford gamepasses, so I don’t know if they make a purchase sound or not. I have a question about the fx of gamepasses and dev products.

  1. Are there any sfx or fx when you successfully purchase a product?
  2. Are there any sfx or fx when you are unable to purchase a product?
  3. If there is audio, is there any way to replace it for your own?

Bonus Q: Can you override the gamepass UI and make your own?

You can’t override the gamepass ui but you can blur out the background when purchasing something as that is seen in games.
About the audio. In games like PLS donate there is audio when you donate but its already premade sound by the devs and then the server just plays the audio (basically they check if sombody has donated etc.)

So you will have to make checks etc. if sombody donates then you can play a sound.

Thats at least what i know!

Btw you can make a gamepass and buy it trough studio (your own game) it should be said that its a play test and you can test it and you wont lose robux etc.

Thanks for the pointers!

I was looking at the documentation and I can’t find anything about where I can override the audio. My guess is to play a sound when something is bought but I am afraid it will overlap with the built in audio (if there is any)

No i don’t think it there is any. You can test in studio (with your own gamepass)
